Two types of Classic

We're now into our last full week of rehearsals for the epic modern ancient history play Boudica by Tristan Bernays which makes its regional premiere after launching at the globe in 2017. It's a big cast of nearly 30 with full-blown fights, lots of anger and emotion, and some betrayal and humour thrown into the mix for what's guaranteed to be a wild ride of a show. Intense is a bit of an understatement.

Tickets are available from the Maddermarket website or their box office here

And once the dust has settled on this modern classic, it's time to turn my eye onto another as I bring a very exciting adaption of Emily Bronte's 'Wuthering Heights' to the Maddermarket. Adapted by famous playwright Jo Clifford this production marks 25 years since it was last performed. Upping the levels on the gothic and the ghosts, this will be one exciting show of love and revenge.
